Little Lambs Refuge in La Masica is a wonderful ministry of Proyecto Alcance founded by David and Dialis Romero. They have cared for and supported girls of all ages in a very poor area of Honduras for 18 years. Connect Global was introduced to this ministry in 2015 while Danielle, Saige, and myself lived in La Ceiba.

Today is not only a celebration of women’s achievements but also a day to remember that there is still much work to do to elevate, promote, and honor women for their contributions across all disciplines and in every sector of life around the world.

The source of your anxiety, whatever it is, matters dearly to God. You can leave it to Him. If you need evidence of that, look up and around you. God cares for the birds of the air—the robins, the hummingbirds, even the vultures. Humans have greater value to Him than birds do, so how much more will He pay attention to your needs?

Thanks to the overwhelmingly generous support we have received we will be making plans to break ground in 2018. We have been talking with several professional contractors in La Ceiba to finalize building standards and firm up a potential start date. We will inform you of the details when they are complete.

In February 2021 the Connect Global team was able to start the Honduras school year off by assuming the financial and logistical responsibilities of a primary and secondary school, Las Huellas Del Maestro, which as of August 1st, 2021 has 172 students as a part of expanding our ongoing commitment to education and care for children.

One of the main ways Connect Global has been able to reach the surrounding communities of La Ceiba, Honduras and really make an impact is by advocating for education. We have been involved in supporting education in Honduras since Connect Global was formed, and we have a very special group of partners and supporters in the US and Honduras who have partnered with us on this cause since the 2017 school year..
Our team would like to invite you to a fast with us. We are using this time to lean into what God is doing around the world. This fast will include abstaining from food, devoting special time to reading the Bible, and putting more emphasis on prayer for the next 21 days as a group.
One of the main ways Connect Global has been able to reach the communities and really make an impact is through education. We have been involved in supporting education in Honduras since Connect Global was formed, and we have a very special group of partners and supporters in the US that have championed a Student Scholarship at 2 different schools.
In August 2019 the Connect Global team was able to present a group of students with inspirational music and quality teaching, as well as hand out a few special treats, as a part of our ongoing commitment to education and care for children.
“I first fell in love with missions when I went on my first trip to Mexico with my (christian) school. We slept on a concrete floor, ate new foods, and most importantly served in the elementary school. It was evident that decent meals and full bellies were scarce but joy and happiness were not.”
