Connect Global has been building an Education Scholarship Program in Honduras with several students since 2017.
One of the main ways Connect Global has been able to reach the surrounding communities of La Ceiba, Honduras and really make an impact is by advocating for education. We have been involved in supporting education in Honduras since Connect Global was formed, and we have a very special group of partners and supporters in the US and Honduras who have partnered with us on this cause since the 2017 school year..
Starting the School Year in the Age of COVID-19
Kids are heading back to class in La Ceiba, Honduras both in person and virtually.
Connect Global is looking to add more students to our roster of scholarship beneficiaries and we would love to invite you to join the several donors who are faithfully giving every month to ensure this group has everything they need to succeed this school year.
We are in constant communication with school staff and parents to ensure these students have what they need for a fulfilling and fun school year. Even in the midst of COVID-19 these students, faculty, and parents are doing everything they can to provide a great foundation for school this year both in person and virtually.
The leaders in Honduras are doing their part to ensure that safety precautions are taken and are in some cases providing a means for students to safely learn from home virtually on laptops, phones, and with socially distanced home visits when possible.

The Staff at the two schools we are currently providing scholarships for have been amazing to work with. They take great pride in the work they accomplish and understand their purpose very well. We are grateful to a very supportive group of sponsors who take this privilege very seriously and make up the gap for students who want to go to school but may not have the financial means to buy school uniforms, books, or pay their tuition.
