In February 2021 the Connect Global team was able to start the Honduras school year off by assuming the financial and logistical responsibilities of a primary and secondary school, Las Huellas Del Maestro, which as of August 1st, 2021 has 172 students as a part of expanding our ongoing commitment to education and care for children.
As many of you know Connect Global has always placed great value on education.
For 17 years we have invested in ongoing education in the country of Honduras via construction projects, rehabilitation projects and education scholarships for many students.
In February of this year we deepened our education initiative by taking on a school of our own in the city of San Juan Pueblo.
The decision was made over time and after giving great thought to the opportunity.
We have relied on friends like Principal Kevin McDonald and colleagues he has introduced us to such as Principal Jessica Hessler who have been great guides and sounding boards throughout this endeavor to further invest in crucial education in Central America.
We hope you enjoy this episode and we hope each parent and student is able to embark on this new school year with enthusiasm and zeal.
