The Maternity Home ministry provides Connect Global access to serve both moms and newborns with great care and dignity while sharing the good news of Jesus with our employees, hospital staff and each new mom that we meet.


Connect Global has been blessed to be supported by many members of the local and international community at the Maternity Home in La Ceiba, Honduras

Many groups, churches, and companies have found ways to support the work here. They have donated many items such as clothes for mom and baby, cleaning supplies, laundry machines, and the Mayors office of La ceiba even donated 50 plants to to beautify our facility.

The Office of the City Mayor of La Ceiba was kind enough to enable his administration to bless the home with 50 plants. As visitors walk through each room and space they often remark on how impressed they are with the ministry and work and have realized how much more they can help the moms and babies here.

Each and every day we are touched by how much the community is willing to help us.

There are not many places in the world where you get that kind of support. We are so grateful for all those who have helped us out and look forward to seeing more blessings come upon this home.

The Connect Global Maternity Home received much needed gifts from the local community this week via the team from Instituto María Regina.

Mothers are discharged every day and we are glad when we are able to send them home with healthy babies and gifts to make their transition home a little smoother.

We are grateful for the many opportunities we encounter on a daily basis to be witness to the miracles God is doing for these families. Our team is not only prepared to pray with the moms and share the Love of Jesus with each one but we help in practical ways everyday. We provide hot meals, clean beds, laundry facilities for those staying an extended amount of time. We also have been able to provide life saving tests, medications, and treatments for both mother and their newborns.


Yarely with her baby headed home after her stay with Connect Global this year at the Maternity Home. It is truly a miracle of God each and every time we get to send another precious mother and baby home.

Many times before the Maternity Home was built our team would observe mothers waiting anxiously for their children in the corridors of the hospital. Mothers were exposed to the elements but staying in close proximity to their children was important to the moms even though it was unsafe at times and very uncomfortable. There just were no other options at the time.

On September 11, 2019 the Connect Global Team started operating the Maternity Home in La Ceiba, Honduras and began hosting these mothers. This Maternity Home got them up off the floor and into brand new beds with access to clean bathrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and 24 hour care by the Connect Global team.

It is the generosity of people like you who makes it possible for us to provide hot meals, clothing, medications, and newborn necessities when available.

Many of our friends in the US have even shopped our Amazon WishList and shipped many items directly to us so we can continue to give generously to each mother. In addition to 3 meals per day, each mom at the Connect Global Maternity Home ministry can expect a clean bed, new laundry facilities, a clothing bank of new and donated items, as well as a caring, loving staff.

 
 

This Maternity Home is truly a blessing from God and has already been a blessing to over 945 mothers as of June 1, 2021.
