Inspiration
We are grateful for all of our friends and family for the continued support, messages, gifts, and check ins. We are glad to be in La Ceiba full time again and looking forward to what is ahead.
We have 6 missions trips planned this year with 3 to La Ceiba, 1 to San Lorenzo, 1 to Spain, and 1 to Cuba.
Everyday here there are many needs and we are happy to jump in and serve where we can in addition to our day to day responsibilities of building Connect Global.

Everyday here is wrought with potential for life changing ministry and opportunities to share love with others in both tangible and spiritual ways.
Jorge and Janeth were very instrumental in us getting a great place to rent and having it set up before we arrived
Even while helping us get internet installed and water connected our friend, and National Director, Jorge was able to share his testimony and encourage them. Later that afternoon Jorge invited the Tigo guys for lunch and they prayed together to accept Jesus.
God has some amazing ways of connecting us to those in need if we pay attention and make intentional decisions to follow through.
Our Co Founders and family (Travis, Gina, and Noah) were here with us to help us get our house feeling like a home and they were a great blessing. They helped us set up furniture and paint as well as many other projects to make sure we are set up.
We could not have made this move happen without many of you helping us and making our ministry here a priority. Thank You!

One program we are continuing to focus on is Launching a School of Missions in Honduras. This will help us Prepare & Equip Latin American Students to Reach the World through Missions.

We will visit the Girls Home at La Masica, continue to work with the local Fire and Police Departments, Host our annual Mission Conference, as well as many practical projects such as, concrete floors, clean water projects, and more.

In February 2021 the Connect Global team was able to start the Honduras school year off by assuming the financial and logistical responsibilities of a primary and secondary school, Las Huellas Del Maestro, which as of August 1st, 2021 has 172 students as a part of expanding our ongoing commitment to education and care for children.

Connect Global will be hosting a Missions Conference on AUGUST 20 AND 21 in San Juan Pueblo Honduras
We are very excited to be putting together a special time of practical training and spiritual encouragement for the Church leaders of Honduras.
The Maternity Home ministry provides Connect Global access to serve both moms and newborns with great care and dignity while sharing the good news of Jesus with our employees, hospital staff and each new mom that we meet.
Join in on this very important conversation about Racialized Crisis and what our Response should be as leaders in the church. We invited highly esteemed Author and Pastor, Dr Dorrell Briscoe to help us navigate this topic for our latest episode of Global Neighborhood on The Connection Podcast.

The Connect Global Team is partnering with CCI Church in La Ceiba to collect and donate 100 Christmas Baskets this year. The Baskets will contain healthy, nutritional food items and non perishable items for families in Need. CCI Church is very active in opening up their church to the community and they offer aide to many who are in need near La Ceiba, Honduras.

We forget we are created to seek. We forget that we are created for a lot of things that we never get around to doing.

It could be our comfort, our Fear, or even Lack of faith. Whatever the reason, we allow it to ground an incredible creature designed for so much more.

The Maternity Home ministry allows Connect Global the access to serve both moms and newborns with great care and dignity while sharing the good news of Jesus with employees, hospital staff and each mother and her children. In addition to this 24/7 care we also visit the General Hospital of Atlántida here in La Ceiba. We offer food, and prayer to the patients and their families as well as hand out bibles to those who desire one. One of the ways we have been able to serve the frontline healthcare workers in our city is by providing gloves, masks, blood pressure monitor supplies, and hospital gowns.
Today is not only a celebration of women’s achievements but also a day to remember that there is still much work to do to elevate, promote, and honor women for their contributions across all disciplines and in every sector of life around the world.

Inspired by the amazing work that continues in the local hospital in La Ceiba Connect Global has chosen to serve these hardworking professionals. Against all odds they fight this battle day in and day out. The Hospital Staff have done such a great job taking care of patients and we want to continue to support these precious frontline workers.
The source of your anxiety, whatever it is, matters dearly to God. You can leave it to Him. If you need evidence of that, look up and around you. God cares for the birds of the air—the robins, the hummingbirds, even the vultures. Humans have greater value to Him than birds do, so how much more will He pay attention to your needs?
According to one study, couples that expressed gratitude in their interactions with each other resulted in increases in relationship connection and satisfaction the next day--both for the person expressing thankfulness and (no big surprise) for the person receiving it. (In fact, the authors of the study said gratitude was like a "booster shot" for relationships.)
Of course the same is true at work. Express gratitude for employee's hard work and you both feel better about yourselves.
Another easy method is to write down a few things you are grateful for every night. One study showed people who wrote down 5 things they were thankful for once a week were 25 percent happier after ten weeks; in effect they dramatically increased their happiness set-point.
Happy people focus on what they have, not on what they don't have. It's motivating to want more in your career, relationships, bank account, etc. but thinking about what you already have, and expressing gratitude for it, will make you a lot happier.
And will remind you that even if you still have huge dreams you have already accomplished a lot--and should feel genuinely proud.

The Connect Global Team often comes across a story and situation that just makes sense to offer help. Our friend and National Director Jorge Amador was introduced to Maria through our friends Pastor Allan and Pastor Miguel of CCI Church. CCI Church is very active in opening up their church to the community and offer aide to so many in need near La Ceiba, Honduras.
