As a team, we’re always looking for ways to help develop skills and strengthen our faith. Especially now as we are all asked to stay In this May be of great benefit to you and your family. Many of us are looking for new and interesting resources to help us in our daily life and this extensive library has content available in multiple categories and even different languages.
One special story we want to share with you is the Story of Blanca.
We have been honored to serve 300 moms so far since we opened in September. Blanca stayed with us for 20 days while her child received intensive care. Angel was born with some extra health needs and received care in Atlántida for an unknown stomach issue. The hospital worked diligently and determined he would need to head to San Pedro Sula, 3 hours away, to receive more specialized treatment. The initial prognosis was not good.
Each Sunday our team gathers with several volunteers and heads out of the Maternity Home. They make a small meal or snack, brew some coffee and head out into the corridors of the Hospital. They offer the patients and their family something to eat and a drink, and offer prayer for them personally or for their loved ones who are in the middle of maybe the worst storms of their lives.
The Connect Global team joined Maternity Home staff member Karina in El Pino for a joyous time celebrating the children of the community.
The Maternity Home ministry allows Connect Global the access to serve both moms and newborns with great care and dignity while sharing the good news of Jesus with employees, hospital staff and each mom and their children.
We have been honored to serve over 280 moms so far since we opened in September. Each mom is cared for deeply and given an opportunity to rest and recover in a clean and safe environment while their babies are cared for in the hospital NICU.

Our team provides 24 hour care which includes, preparing and serving hot meals, processing donations, cleaning, and ministry in the form of prayer, and providing items for the moms to help them recover and make their way back to their own home.

In addition our team seeks out local opportunities to serve the community though various outreaches and programs such as the day of outreach on Saturdays in Los Laureles neighborhood.
Our team helped prepare and share food, songs, balloon animals, and a bible Study on The Lord’s Prayer found in the book of Matthew. Thank You you to all the team for your generosity and compassion for these children and for La Ceiba and for the world. We are grateful to be a part of this ministry and could not be more proud of the team for their continued commitment to this neighborhood.

In addition to this 24/7 care we also visit the General Hospital of Atlántida here in La Ceiba. We offer food, and prayer to the patients and their families as well as hand out bibles to those who desire one. One of the ways we have been able to serve the frontline healthcare workers in our city is by providing gloves, masks, blood pressure monitor supplies, and hospital gowns.

Inspired by the amazing work that continues in the local hospital in La Ceiba Connect Global has chosen to serve these hardworking professionals. Against all odds they fight this battle day in and day out. The Hospital Staff have done such a great job taking care of patients and we want to continue to support these precious frontline workers.
Janeth Montoya, our friend, and longtime volunteer has become the Director of The Maternity Home in Honduras with Connect Global, please join us in welcoming her to the team.
We were able to visit his church on Saturday and see that there is still much progress to be made. We sat in service and were rained on under the yet to be replaced roof. It was great to see first hand the severity of the need as well as the steadfastness of the Pastor and church as they did not let this major inconvenience affect them. Their ministry continues despite the heavy rains.

He is a man that holds in very high regard the responsibility God has bestowed upon him. His work is run on Faith in God alone.
There are three designated meal times set aside to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, however, because of a rotation of volunteer pastors and church leaders, they will serve a meal to someone in need at any time of day or night.
The location is centrally located and easy to access. There are no forms to sign, or agreements between those serving and those eating. They have stripped everything down to a basic service of feeding the hungry. At each meal the word of God is preached, and food is served. They do so based on a belief of biblical scriptures instructing them to do so.
People wishing to get a meal do not need to do anything except show up.
Connect Global will be hosting a Missions Conference on AUGUST 20 AND 21 in San Juan Pueblo Honduras
We are very excited to be putting together a special time of practical training and spiritual encouragement for the Church leaders of Honduras.
In February 2021 the Connect Global team was able to start the school year off by assuming the financial and logistical responsibilities of a school, Las Huellas Del Maestro, which as of March 1st, 2021 has 172 students as a part of expanding our ongoing commitment to education and care for children.
This year was a very blessed year for Connect Global thanks to your support.
One of the main ways Connect Global has been able to reach the surrounding communities of La Ceiba, Honduras and really make an impact is by advocating for education. We have been involved in supporting education in Honduras since Connect Global was formed, and we have a very special group of partners and supporters in the US and Honduras who have partnered with us on this cause since the 2017 school year..
Connect Global has partnered with several dedicated pastors, and church leaders to help bring relief to those in need during this global crisis. Thank You to everyone who has given to make this possible.
Connect Global has been able to help pastors who are in need while they continue to serve their churches as best as they can and we couldn’t do what we do without you.
We have been able to help families who are in need, and one of those families is the Valiente Family.
Of the hundreds of stops we’ve made to personally distribute food and other basic necessities to our friends, neighbors and families in need the Valiente Family may be one of my most fun and treasured memories.
Señora Rosita Valiente, who has accomplished 72 years of life, told me she was born in to the circus business and has loved entertaining families all across the nation her entire life.
Together we have already provided thousands of meals to people in need. We have worked with several local leaders to ensure we are getting to those in need and that we are doing it safely and securely. As the lockdown is extended this week in La Ceiba, Connect Global plans to continue purchasing and distributing as many Family Sized Meal Kits as possible, and we wouldn’t be able to help these families without the generosity of so many both in the US and here in Honduras.
One of the main ways Connect Global has been able to reach the communities and really make an impact is through education. We have been involved in supporting education in Honduras since Connect Global was formed, and we have a very special group of partners and supporters in the US that have championed a Student Scholarship at 2 different schools.

The Connect Global team from the Maternity Home in La Ceiba was able to make several treats and sweet eats to share with the children in the community.. Our team was joined by Restoring Life Church from La Ceiba. They were able to pray with and bless almost 200 kids.

The Connect Global Team is partnering with CCI Church in La Ceiba to collect and donate 100 Christmas Baskets this year. The Baskets will contain healthy, nutritional food items and non perishable items for families in Need. CCI Church is very active in opening up their church to the community and they offer aide to many who are in need near La Ceiba, Honduras.

On Sunday the Connect Global team from the Maternity Home in La Ceiba was able to make a meal and walk through the Hospital Atlantida serving and praying with patients and family. Our team was joined by CCI church, & Restoring Life Church both from La Ceiba. They were able to pray with many people and 3 of them prayed to accept Jesus in their heart for the first time.
