As cases of COVID-19 continue to rise around the world Connect Global has been able to bless hundreds.
Connect Global will continue to prioritize the immediate needs of our neighbors as long as it takes, but will also focus on implementing a more sustainable plan for the near and foreseeable future.
We are choosing to continue expanding on a plan to create sustainable urban farm projects all across the city, country and even into Costa Rica.
Connect Global had the opportunity to work alongside our friends, Pastors, and other leaders to share food and other essential items with as many people as possible.
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have been able to plan, source and build 5 Aquaponic Systems or what we are now calling Urban Farms, since they are focused near and around the urban center of La Ceiba. While Honduras has traditionally been considered an agrarian culture, solutions like personal and family sized aquaponics are not as widely implemented. Connect Global is looking to change that. We plan to implement 46 more systems in and around La Ceiba in order to combat the long term effects of the Coronavirus.
Many people have been out of work or for other reasons have been unable to provide a sustainable living. With these new Urban Farms we hope to make a positive impact on thousands.
Will You Give With Us?. These small Urban Farms cost $500 USD but can be put together in about a week. Our National Director is an Aquaponics pro and has built 5 systems just since the outset of COVID-19. Over the next year we could put together 46 more with your financial support.
