The Maternity Home ministry allows Connect Global the access to serve both moms and newborns with great care and dignity while sharing the good news of Jesus with employees, hospital staff and each mom and their children.
One special story we want to share with you is the Story of Blanca.
We have been honored to serve 300 moms so far since we opened in September. Blanca stayed with us for 20 days while her child received intensive care. Angel was born with some extra health needs and received care in Atlántida for an unknown stomach issue. The hospital worked diligently and determined he would need to head to San Pedro Sula, 3 hours away, to receive more specialized treatment. The initial prognosis was not good.

Every mom is cared for deeply and given an opportunity to rest and recover in a clean and safe environment while their babies are cared for in the hospital NICU. Stories like Blancas are miraculous and we love to tell them. Not every story is the same and our team works hard to make sure that each mother is treated with dignity, compassion, and with great care. These moms are going though a great deal and we are grateful to be a part of their story.

Each week the Connect Global Maternity Home team takes meals and prayer to the members of an underserved community in La Ceiba, Atlantida.

This Maternity Home is truly a blessing from God and has already been a blessing to over 296 mothers as of Mar 13th.

Our team provides 24 hour care which includes, preparing and serving hot meals, processing donations, cleaning, and ministry in the form of prayer, and providing items for the moms to help them recover and make their way back to their own home.
