In 2015, Connect Global launched an initiative in Honduras we call Connected Community. As a part of our ongoing support and investment into the Community of La Ceiba, Honduras our team has provided medic training for several members of the local police department. Since then we have also engaged with the Fire Department in El Porvenir to provide fire suits, medical equipment, and other job related necessities like communication radios. We are excited to announce, In March of 2020, because of several generous donors, we were able to deliver an ambulance to the hardworking firefighters in El Porvenir.

Connect Global has continued to build a wonderful partnership with the firefighters of Honduras

Being able to understand how this group of hard working individuals is able to accomplish so much with the support of their community and the families they serve is a great testament to what we can do when we work together.

On March 13, Connect Global was able to give the gift of this ambulance to the hardworking crew at the Department in El Porvenir. This will significantly bolster their ability to save lives on a daily basis.

We are beyond grateful for the amazing show of support from so many generous individuals to make sure that this ambulance could be purchased.
