In February 2021 the Connect Global team was able to start the school year off by assuming the financial and logistical responsibilities of a school, Las Huellas Del Maestro, which as of Marc 1st, 2021 has 172 students as a part of expanding our ongoing commitment to education and care for children.
Hurricane Eta brought devastating rains, mudslides to Honduras. Thousands of people across Honduras were in the direct path of Hurricane Eta and have lost everything. Many more have been affected by its lasting impacts such as damaged roads, flooding, and fallen bridges.
They are without food, water, & shelter.
'Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. All over the world today people are facing the same enemy, Covid-19. This tiny virus has caused a huge commotion. Businesses have closed. Schools have shut their doors. Entire nations have declared a quarantine in an effort to limit the spread of the virus. Connect Global has a plan to help serve as many people as we can who are affected by COVID-19
The Connect Global Team has been investing in Aquaponics since our inception. On our First Official Trip as 'Connect Global' to Cusuna, Honduras we built 5 aquaponic systems. We have learned a lot since then, and our friend and partner Jorge Amador has built many more complete systems and taught several people his skills as well. We plan to build and facilitate an Aquaponic Training Center in Honduras soon.
