The Maternity Home ministry provides Connect Global access to serve both moms and newborns with great care and dignity while sharing the good news of Jesus with our employees, hospital staff and each new mom that we meet.
God has blessed Connect Global to be able to serve 455 Mothers since opening in September 2019.
Even in the middle of COVID-19 we have continued to serve the new moms of our department with great care and dignity. We have continued to increase the protective measures and personal protective equipment in order to guard against the coronavirus and to make sure our team members have everything they need to serve safely and securely during this time.
The latest Covid-19 Restrictions and continued shutdown of public transportation has increased the opportunities we have to help moms and their newborns.
One of the main ways that the COVID-19 restrictions have challenged us during this time is by leaving many without transportation options or the ability to go and circulate through the city on non work days. Residents are mandated to stay in their home everyday except for a predetermined day about once every 2 weeks based on the last digit of your identification.
Our National Directors, Jorge and Janeth have done a great job leading the charge for us by making sure that our team has everything they need. They make almost daily deliveries of milk, eggs, grains, oil, cleaning supplies, gloves, masks and more to ensure that our team is well equipped for normal responsibilities in addition to COVID-19 prevention.
Everyday presents the Connect Global team in Honduras with new challenges and opportunities.
We choose to go towards the tension and provide care for those God has directed us to despite the things that are stacked against us. We know that God is our provider and He chooses to use people like you and me to compete the Mission.

In addition to 3 meals per day, each mom at the Connect Global Maternity Home ministry can expect a clean bed, new laundry facilities, a clothing bank of new and donated items, as well as a caring, loving staff.
This Maternity Home is truly a blessing from God and has already been a blessing to over 440 mothers as of July 1st.
Our team is committed to serving the moms in our care with love and grace.

Our team provides 24 hour care which includes, preparing and serving hot meals, processing donations, cleaning, and ministry in the form of prayer, and providing items for the moms to help them recover and make their way back to their own home.
